Business Operations Manager

Wiraraja Indonesia was established in 1998 in Batam City, Riau Island, Indonesia. Wiraraja Indonesia engages in Industrial Estate Management & Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Mining.

We are looking for a high caliber Business Operations Manager for out Manufacturing plant. You will be directly involved in shaping the Wiraraja Manufacturing team’s growth and strategy. You will work directly with our  Business Lead.

Job Descriptions

1. 1. Reporting directly to the Director, you will work closely together to execute on the company’s operational strategy
      • Manage budgets and forecasts, monitor employees’ KPIs
      • Find ways to increase the quality of customer service
      • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
      • Create production plan (MPS) Monthly, controlling Weekly & Daily
      • Create and analyze production capacity report; analyze the accuracy of forecast vs POs
      • Receive forecast and POs from customers
   2. Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
      • Create and implement SOP/work instructions related to both office and production
      • Organizing all divisions activity deadlines, work reports and actions
      • Ensure the timely delivery of materials to the facility, collaborating with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, shipping schedules and work schedules to meet facility production plans. Using supplier collaboration technologies, collaborates with suppliers and operations to plan delivery of material for production
   3. Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
   4. Manage direction, support, motivation and develop workers to achieve the target
   5. Maintaining the office condition (the cleanlines of the work environment) and arranging necessary repairs
   6. Support in developing marketing collateral and promotional materials
   7. Organizing all divisions activity deadlines, work reports and actions
   8. Oversee and deliver special projects and work closely across functions and management as assigned by the Director, e.g. expansion planning, budgeting, internal communications, fundraising, etc.

   Job Requirement

   • Have a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience preferably in Manufacturing Industry
   • Proficient in using Ms. Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
   • Have good analytical and calculation skills in business and production planning
   • Proven experience working with a tight deadline in a fast-paced working environment
   • A creative problem solver with strong quantitative and analytical skills
   • Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
   • Ability to read, write, and speak in Chinese is an advantage
   • Strong commercial acumen, communication and presentation skills
   • Team players, proactive, flexible and high integrity
   • Strong Ms. Excel and PowerPoint skills
   • Have interest and preferably some experience working in a manufacturing industry is a plus
   • Willing to be placed in Batam City, Riau Islands
